"The Hotel is a wonderfully panoramic location overlooking the lake. It’s a great location in a grand historic building. I am not a fan that charges for parking. Just add it into the rate! "The staff were excellent helpful and friendly. Anything you wanted they supplied if it was available. My 2 bookings caused minor problems but soon overcome. The hotel has a great situation admittedly up a hill but it was worth it. We had a view of Windermere lake from our room. "

"Was really disappointing the shower area was so tiny you couldn’t turn around if you did the shower curtain kept sticking to you and so much damp in this tiny area. You had to keep your arms in. The TV kept freezing and you could turn the Tv over with the remote control. The The breakfast was nice."
