We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. "Nice rustic hotel. Room very spacious and full equipped Location is good Cleanest is good Reception is good. "We rented the chateau to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with children and grandchildren (13 of us). Everyone was delighted with the beautiful and spacious home, the property and the location. We were able to travel to many wonderful places nearby and a little bit further out in France. It was an amazing time in a fairy tale place."

"Le propriétaire avait suspendu la location de son appartement jusqu'au 31/12 mais Expedia à accepté la location. Très bon contact avec la propriétaire qui a essayé de nous trouver une solution 5 heures avant mon arrivée. Service Expedia complètement NUL ils n'ont même pas pris la peine de m'appeler pour me proposer un autre hébergement. Très déçu. "

"Shampoo are at the house as well as coffee, and filters, other items, which are really helpful on the arrival day when you have not had a chance to buy all the necessities yet. Apartment was very clean, and the owner highly communicative at every point in the process. It was a pleasant day and a good location near Mons."

"Superb location for Charleroi airport, 5 minute car ride. Here on business and it was a nice stay. Clean big rooms, friendly staff and high level cuisine in the restaurant. I even came back in the same week as needed to stop one more night near airport. Highly reccomended and my go to Charleroi Airport stop over."

My only negative is no aircon which would be a nightmare in the summer, they do supply a big noisy fan. Perhaps B&B who are new owners will install aircon? Other than that it was an excellent stay, free coffee downstairs 24/7 and a room with a bath. We didn't bother with breakfast as plenty of shops/cafes in Mons. Very comfortable bed, i slept very well. Would recommend the B&B...

"Have stayed in a number of Mons hotels whilst i vacated my apartment in the town. This included 2 stays at the van der valk during October 2024. This time in room 103 for a week, nice big clean room, shower only. Very convenient for getting to my apartment and into the centre of town. Didn't use parking or breakfast. IKEA is 10 mins walk away and do a hot breakfast for a few euros. Also 10 mins walk to cafes etc. Van der Valk is easily best hotel in Mons, happy to recommend "

Very comfortable bed, i slept very well. Would recommend the B&B centre mons (ex lido). There is a launderette just up the street, open 24/7, tokens on sale for machines inside"

"I'm currently preparing to vacate my apartment in Mons after a few years working in Belgium. Stayed Saturday night at the B&B Mons Gare room 207. The young man on reception was incredibly helpful, Joffrey. Our room was very large with a bath. There were a couple of wedding parties in but we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fine with some hot options for us Brits. I never used the hotel when it was run by IBIS but would recommend. We didn't have a car but the car park looked easy to use. Not in the best part of Mons but we know the area well."

"Superb location for Charleroi airport, 5 minute car ride. Here on business and it was a nice stay. Clean big rooms, friendly staff and high level cuisine in the restaurant.
