"Excellent service from the two youngsters who were on duty that evening Keira and Radham, I think they were. Cheerful and attentive, without being intrusive. They made for a pleasant end to what had been a very trying day. The hotel was in pretty good condition. Needs some tlc but clean and functional. Rather better than my experience in Glasgow. My faith in Campanile is somewhat restored by Washington. The burger was good, too. "

"I had a really bad experience with another hotel so booked into here instead. The ladies on check in were amazing and so kind. When I told them what had happened to me they upgraded my room to a suite, I cant thank them enough. The room was amazing and so comfortable, all the staff were really helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant were great as was the food they served. I have a lot of work around Durham area and will be using this hotel from now one."

"Stayed in the courtyard area, had lovely views over the fields at the back. The room itself was a good size, comfortable bed and storage facilities were all of a good standard, just the bathroom needed a little updating as a bit tired. The breakfast was very good (perfect poached eggs) also had our dinner there a couple of times and the food again was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just 3 miles from Durham City Centre and surrounded by some stunning scenery . Would definitely stay here again if we were venturing up that way."
