Lovely hotel

Great hotel

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is great as it is in the city center. The breakfast was really good. I highly recommend this hotel and if I travel to Braga in the future, it will definitely be where I stay.

Super friendly staff!

I had a great stay at Mercure Braga! The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, and I would like to specifically highlight how wonderful the restaurant staff were. Everyone was so accommodating and I would definitely come back again.

Our family has stayed at the Mercure Braga a few times and always enjoy our stays. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well appointed. Dinner in the restaurant is excellent. The area is within walking distance of many of Braga's historical sites. We look forward to a return visit!

If not for the mattress we would have given it an excellent. The mattress was so hard and like sleeping on a box spring. It was actually painful to us. The hotel is two blocks from the center where there is no traffic. Our usual hotel was booked so we tried this one. Clean and friendly. The food was excellent also.

Nice hotel, but…

Great, friendly service everywhere in the hotel. Beds are very hard. Uncomfortablly hard. It’s a shame because it’s a nice hotel in a great location with an outstanding staff.

We loved Mercure but Expedia transferred us to this property from Colina Guesthouse but did not give us the free parking nor the free breakfast for the two night stay which they said would be included. This cost us over 80 euros extra. We contacted Expedia. They said they would clear up the problem. They did not. I will do my hotel booking elsewhere.

Property was located near the city center which was very convenient. Lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Beds were pretty small. Reception staff wasn’t knowledgeable about the tours and just told us to scan a QR code. Room service only had sandwiches so we had to Uber to a McDonald’s after a night out with friends. Hotel also had one iron and ironing board which was super inconvenient since a number of us staying at the hotel were attending a wedding.

Me encantó el balcón. Llevé carro y el pararlo estaba sujeto a espacio. Sin embargo, el hotel dispone de estacionamiento, sin restricciones, en la propiedad, cubierto (lo que es fantástico porque al estar lloviendo, una puede bajarse del auto sin mojarse) pasa que hay que pagar.
