"Hosts were very welcoming but also kept out of our way. The house and pool are beautiful and the location peaceful. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Our only comment was that the bedrooms were downstairs from the main living space and you had to go outside and round to get to them. This was fine for our family but may not suit with younger children. The house is very remote and a car is essential to get anywhere."

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le gîte était propre et très fonctionnel. Nos hôtes ont été très arrangeants pour l'arrivée et le départ ce qui était très appréciable. "We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "

Traditional stylish hotel with great staff

" One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over."

"A lovely relaxing stay on our journey down to the South. Our room was very spacious with a good shower room. All was clean and tidy. The host was great, very friendly and cooked us and other guests an excellent, tasty meal. We had a very good evening all chatting and enjoying the ambiance. A great nights sleep in very comfortable bed. The stay was completed with a plentiful breakfast. Thank you so much...we hope to see you again. "
