"For a person holidaying alone, this was great. I loved the closeness to the town and the beach. And many other beautiful destinations within easy reach. The cottage had all I needed and was ideal for a cosy autumn stay. A real gem. "

"The cottage was about a 30 minute walk from the beach but not suitable for young children as it’s all country roads. It’s about a 5 minute drive which is great! "Stayed for three nights November 2024. Cottage was comfortable with everything you need for a short break. Cottage is a little tired, but was perfectly comfortably for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond. Hot tub was excellent - very clean. There were no household products so if you stay here bring toilet roles and fairy liquid! "

"Had a lovely holiday week. We had the house and flat, ideal for our party of 9 and three dogs. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. Visited both the pubs for drinks and meals too, good food and welcome."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Before arrival, I requested a bouquet of flowers and some balloons to be arranged in our room, and it was beautifully set up just as we hoped. The room itself was lovely, we stayed in a castle valley view room. Waking up to a breathtaking sunrise made it even more memorable. The Sunday roast was exceptional, honestly, the best we’ve had anywhere, and we’ve tried many places for roasts! Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of variety. We even requested a few items not on the menu, and it was no trouble at all. A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!"

"With a warm welcome as impressive as the grand facade of The Falcon Hotel, we felt we had made the right choice as soon as we arrived. We had a large light double aspect family room at the front. All was clean, comfortable and appeared recently refurbished. We attended a family birthday party there too which was well-catered for. "
