Your retreat is a beautiful, self-contained, two bedroom cabin and is the perfect weekend or mid-week getaway in a secluded country setting. Picnic amongst the eucalypt and pine trees, or wander along the 2km stretch of the beautiful Wollondilly River. Only 1.5 hours from Sydney or Canberra, and 30 minutes to the boutique shops, wineries, historical towns, and numerous events of the Southern Highlands NSW.
Enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing or just relax, unwind and take in the views of our 100 acre completely solar and wind powered scenic property. On the colder days snuggle up inside by the slow combustion fire with a good book, or have some fun with the variety of board/card games available within your cabin.
Sitting on the front deck you will see a morning and afternoon parade of native animals and hear the beautiful song of our lovely wild birds. Within our 2km stretch of the Wollondilly River there are platypus, fish, deep cool pools and shallow sandy wading areas. Maybe take an evening walk around the property to catch sight of a wombat, possum or owl, or simply sit by the outside fire-pit, toast marshmallows and soak up the vast night sky speckled by millions of stars.
If you would like to join in with the feeding of our beloved animals then we'd love to have you come along. Brush and feed the horse, pat the goats, feed the chooks (and possibly get some fresh eggs), chat with the alpacas, and maybe cuddle a guinea pig. If you're not into being so close to animals please do not worry as there are clear paths around the animal enclosures.
Why not pamper yourself with either a rejuvenating facial or beautiful relaxation massage, or wipe away any aches and pains with a remedial massage located in our treatment room on the property.
Accommodation and facilities are modern and spacious, and consists of two bedrooms (2 king beds, or 1 king bed and 2 king single beds), large lounge/ dining area, fully equipped kitchen with 5 burner gas oven/stove, slow combustion fire, flat screen TV with DVD player, BBQ facilities, outdoor fire-pit, washing machine and tub, and games/books.
