am writing regarding a disappointing experience with my recent booking at your hotel. On November 19th, I accidentally booked a room for November 19th to November 20th, but I had intended to book for November 21st to November 22nd. I discovered my mistake on November 20th while waiting for a train ride and immediately contacted the hotel manager to resolve the issue.
The manager acknowledged that such mistakes happen and even mentioned having made a similar error himself. While he offered to assist me with rebooking, no discount or compensation was offered, even though I had already spent a lot of money on the original reservation for two rooms that I never had the chance to experience.
I booked these rooms with the intention of taking my spouse on a special trip to Breckenridge, and the outcome was deeply disappointing. I understand that policies around cancellations and no-shows exist; however, this was an honest mistake, and I reached out promptly to address it. I would have appreciated some form of accommodation, such as a partial refund, discount on the rebooking, or credit for a future stay.
