The Kahandar Hotel did and had everything we needed. Great location, a very short walk to everything, including the slopes! We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 9 & 11). and had a family quadruple room. The children loved the bunk beds and although the room was compact it had all we needed. The reception and bar areas are nicely decorated and the staff were efficient, although not overly warm/friendly. It doesn’t have a pool (we knew that of course!) but the local AquaCentre is a few minutes walk away and is great. Overall great value and would return.

Enjoyable convenient stay (1 week Jan 2024) at the residential section (Sun Valley) of Hotel Vancouver in La Plagne Soleil. Large comfortable functional room, balcony with fabulous view. Decent powerful shower over the bath, endless hot water. Excellent breakfast (cereal, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, croissant, bread, cake, scrambled eggs, bacon, salmon, coffee etc). Bring own tea bags if you prefer a brew of traditional english breakfast tea. Swimming Pool with steam room, sauna & hot tub - ideal for stretching out aches & pains after a long day on the slopes. Pool temperature was fine. Ski / Boot room on lower ground floor with large lockers for each specific hotel room (fully lockable & secure). No immediate access to slopes from boot room, only a minute walk to blue run behind hotel (via tunnel walkway next to Intersport), takes you down to Bergerie lift. Handy Spar shop across road from Hotel (near ESF meeting point & bars). Highly recommend Le Monica's (restaurant & pizzeria) with great outside decked Apres ski area overlooking slopes; also has cool pub on lower ground floor with ski/snowboarders vibe. If you're looking for full on ski after party experience, ski to La Bergerie https://www.chaletdaltitudelabergerie.fr/

"Only issues we hand was there was used towels in the draw, ac not working too warm in the room. Breakfast was finishing too early as we had a long journey before hand and got to the hotel at 9pm didn’t get up in time. And no option to have it in the room like in other Novotel.
