"Very serene location at a lower point on the lake, but with enough to do so you don't get bored. Only negative is if you don't have a boat, it is a 10-minute drive just to get back to the main roads, and then at least another 10 minute drive to any local attractions/restaurants."

"We had such a great stay at this brand-new property! From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and thoughtful—great signage made it easy to find, and the keyless entry plus clear communication ahead of time made check-in a breeze.
The room was spotless and absolutely beautiful. One of our favorite touches was the live edge wood detail throughout the space. We learned that all the wood used for the frames and decor came from trees right on the property, which was such a unique and meaningful detail.
The beds were super comfortable, and you could still smell that “new” freshness in the air. Outside, we enjoyed playing cornhole, our teens had a blast on the mini golf course and at the swim dock, and it was incredible being right on the water. The whole atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly, but with an elevated, boutique feel.
We even had the chance to meet the owner/developer, who was genuinely excited about what he built and clearly takes pride in every detail. He remembered us the next day and asked how our concert went—just one of those thoughtful, personal touches that made the stay feel extra special.
Can’t recommend this place enough—perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and good old Midwest hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!"
"Very clean! We arrived 45 min early and we were allowed to check in. The hotel desk clerk kept us informed of changes at the concert. He also recommended an Irish restaurant that was excellent. We plan on using this motel again for other concer. "
Newly Remodeled 3-bedroom house with Amazing Views of the Lake!
10/10 Excellent
"Awesome location away from the tourism areas. Close parking to the house. House was much larger than pictures show and recently remodeled. Loved the structured, its a true old style "lake house" with original exposed rafters with a modern makeover.Table tennis was a surprise in the basement the kids enjoyed during the evenings. Rear deck view of the lake is fantastic for end of day relaxing. "
"We stayed at the Heron Cabin for the 4th of July holiday. It was so relaxing! The swim dock is shared but everyone is so welcoming. The host’s son in law provided one of the best fireworks displays we have ever seen, it went on well over an hour! Definitely worth it! Haha Tonka is beautiful and a great break from swimming. "
