"Apartment 4, Sir Nigel Gresley. Overall a good stay. Listed as first floor but was second floor. Four flights of stairs bit of a struggle for four over 60s with suitcases. Also en suite shower a definite no. High step and getting out no hand holds. Couldn't use it. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Sofas too low and only two chairs for the dining table. Central location. Probably wouldn't use again due to mobility issues."

"We have stayed here for two consecutive years. It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. I would suggest the property is either deep-cleaned and better aired/odor neutralized after every stay OR only advertised to dog owners. If you have dogs, it is a perfect place to stay with lots of good local walks to...

"Location couldn't have been better - a couple of minutes from the Spa, where I was trading. Flat was also on ground floor, handy as I had a lot to carry. Flat itself was fine, pleasantly decorated, and had good facilities. Only 2 problems - no proper lights so I could do work in evenings; and couldn't get radiators to work till last morning, so cool weekend (they did get hot water fixed quickly; but not heating)."

"Had a wonderful, short but sweet stay at the charming Cockle Cottage. Very tastefully furnished with some lovely touches, which gave it a homely feel. We all enjoyed the wood burner, our senior dog in particular. Great location for discovering the beautiful Flamborough coastline, and within walking distance of shops, pubs and fish and chip shops. "
