The restaurant food was remarkably good for a hotel—-except for the pizza. Both nights we were there, there were large tour groups in the main dining room but other diners were served promptly. "A beautiful venue in picturesque surroundings. A friendly welcome on arrival and easy to settle in. Recommended the breakfast, it was a perfect way to fuel up for the day ahead! Set away from the road, you will need to be prepared to walk down a slope to the reception and it is not wheelchair safe due to the gravel drives. "
