Very quaint, staff very friendly and helpful. Room wasn't big but had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Bogh dinner and breakfast were delicious. Would recommend.

Bedroom terrible

The pub was lovely, staff were gracious and polite, evening meal and breakfast delicious. Unfortunately the condition of the bedroom was terrible due too stale water smell from the shower. Disappointingly this ruined what would have been a nice stay.

2 night business trip, room was nice, clean and comfy. Breakfast was very nice. Dinner was excellent but not the cheapest would have been nice to get a discount as a staying guest. I would definitely stay again when in the area

Room was clean and comfortable. WiFi didn’t work in room, but good in bar and outside. Bathroom a little tired but functional. Food was great.

The staff were very welcoming. I was traveling alone so decided to book the snug bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised. It was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, large disabled access wet room. TV and an extra rad if I was cold. For the one night stay it had everything I needed. Great food and location

A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening.

This very special hotel is just what I was looking for, a small hotel, that is very quiet, nowhere near an interstate (noise), has friendly staff, great food, and a very old yet clean pub bar area. We ate two meals there, their included 'free' breakfast was a FULL English breakfast, with SUPERB food, and friendly service. I will definitely stay there with my wife again next time we travel to the Bristol area. Top notch hotel, pub, restaurant, all tied up together in a very quiet and safe place. Thank you Adam, Rhys, and the manager and waitress who I met, and are super-nice and friendly.

The service was decent. The dining room was nice. The food was good. The room however had some issues and particular the bathroom It was very noisy when you ran the water and the toilet did not fit the flooring at all. It was a bit strange.

I stay in hotels every week but at this price £135 one night the breakfast should’ve been included it is but a full English is an extra £4.50. There was no cereal no fruit no fruit juice and no eggs. You got half a tomato, one mushroom one rasher of streaky bacon, one sausage and a slice of toast extremely disappointing. Nice location with free parking and good amenities in the room but overpriced and asking more for breakfast is ridiculous. Sorry will not be back.

The Inn was charming but unfortunately our room was very small. We overlooked the terrace and live music had been booked for 5pm which made it impossible to use the room, we had no prior knowledge of this. We were informed he finished at 8 but this wasn’t the case it went in until 10. We had evening meal and although very slow service was fine. Breakfast also was very good.

Checked in, then I was told I couldn’t eat in the bar or restaurant, as there is a a quiz night on, and all the tables are reserved for the quiz. The quiz was noisy and heard in my room till late, as they opened all the corridor doors ! Worst stay I’ve ever had in 30 years
