The property wasn't bad, overall. The beds were comfortable, sheets were clean and housekeeping replaced towels on my 3rd day there (out of 5). But the sink was clogged and slow to drain, the faucet was loose in the sink top (although it worked fine), and it was little difficult to get the shower to stay on when I pulled up the stopper. Overall, the hotel is clean and safe, and since it was relatively affordable, I didn't mind dealing with a few minor issues with the sink and shower. I was also a little surprised that there was no breakfast at all, but I think I assumed there would be some kind of breakfast and I forgot to double-check the listed amenities when I booked my room.

People are the most amazing resource they have. The room was dirty with carpet stains and the lobby was very smelly.

I am a housekeeping director for a skilled facility in Sarasota. So for me the cleanliness is VERY important. Even though this is across the street from a fire department i didnt hear a thing. It was an amazing stay. Will definitely recommend.

As an older woman travelling alone (Mayo cancer patient), I love the fact that one has to have a reservation to go to hotel floors - makes me feel much safer Also, the valet parking is perfect and the staff at JAX Beach is terrific - especially Cole, who is kind, efficient and thinks of the "little things" that made my travels to Mayo from Margaritaville easier and more comfortable Please recognize Cole for his personal skills with guests and also his supervision of an excellent staff I will continue to stay at Margaritaville for my upcoming treatments and procedures. Thank you!
