There are no elevators and the first floor in Europe is equivalent to what we consider the second floor in North America - if your luggage is heavy you will have to carry it up stairs. "A historic gem. Our room was huge as well as the bathroom. It really felt like you were staying in a castle. It was spotless, so clean.
