"This property has been beautifully renovated and provides every modern amenity (except AC, which is pretty much non-existent in Scandinavian countries). It is EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The laundry area was also really useful for us. I was expecting the location to be more "touristy" based on the pics, but it's actually located in the back of a commercial/industrial area, and about 45 min drive to the more popular/touristy areas of Senja. "It is an older establishment but seems to be well maintained. It has a very nice English style pub,.but unfortunately it was only open on Friday and Saturday, but we had a very nice breakfast there in the morning. Its a small town business, so if you arrive late be prepared to call someone to be checked in. Fortunately there was a gentleman inside and opened up for us as soon as he saw us. Very freindly and quick check-in and free parking around back of the hotel. Lots of shopping malls within a 30 second to 3 minute walk and restaurants within steps of the front door. Great location."

"We were made to feel welcome at check-in and given help with directions to sightseeing in the Senja region as well as a great place to eat in nearby Finnsnes. A spacious room in fairly simple accommodation was suitable for our one night stay and the continental breakfast was good. Block-out curtains would have been nice."

Great over night stop

"We had a very nice over night stop, the kitchen facilities were great!! The room was a little too small, no where to put clothes so had to keep opening and close suitcases but not enough space to leave them open. Had to put them against the room door and moving them each time we went out. It is an amazing location. "

"We had a marvellous stay and Katherine couldn’t have been more helpful. What a special place to stay. Would definitely recommend, especially for the views and possibility of seeing the northern lights. The sauna and jacuzzis are a must, the views from both are outstanding. "
