Alex's place was wonderful, and he was such a gracious host. The building is hundreds of years old but has been made modern and efficient without losing any charm. It's on a quiet street in walking distance of everything. Perfect spot to spend a few days in this wonderful city.

We loved this house for our family of five. There was room for everyone, two bathrooms, laundry facilities on site and a full kitchen. The house was lovely - beautiful decorations and comfortable furniture. Alex was responsive and accommodated our need to drop off bags early and leave them a little beyond checkout time. I would definitely return!

A lovely apartment with lots of character. It has everything you need, and is in a central location. The owner is very helpful. We had a great stay - it is one of our favourite properties on Stayz so far.

Check-in information was provided ahead of time and was a very smooth process. The apartment is very interesting and has plenty of space for two couples. One bed is located at the top of some stairs, but it was still very pleasant. The location could not be beat!

Our first time visiting the city of Bruges. What an awesome city with so much to see. This holiday flat is the perfect location to see it all. Super clean and well maintained in a perfect location .The owners were great to work with at check in and checking out could not be easier. The local parking is a huge plus as well. I highly recommend staying at Casa Michelangelo !

Casa Michaelango and Alex were wonderful hosts during our short stay in Bruges. Perfect place for my wife, myself, and another couple. The location is a 5 to 15 minute walk from anything Bruges has to offer. A definite must stay.

We loved the location - close enough to the main sites to easily walk there but far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. Our cabbie took us to the wrong location at first and Alex immediately answered our call and found us and escorted us to the right place. It was clean and comfortable. He also got us a cab to the station at the end of our stay and was very accommodating in every way. Top ranking!

Alex’s property was a fantastic base for my wife, daughter and I’s exploration of Bruges and Ostend. Everything was as pictured and described and the house was extremely clean and well-kept. Alex provided a wealth of information at check-in that helped shape our stay. We hope to return some day!

Was a fantastic property with all the comforts of home, situated in the historic center of Bruges. The process from beginning to end was smooth and the host Alex a joy to deal with. We can't recommend this home highly enough. Look no further. It was the highlight of all the properties we stayed at on our recent trip to Europe.

Where to start with how well appointed and comfortable our stay was here.
First Alex met us when we arrived, showed us around, explained how all the appliances worked and gave us many recommendations for where to go, what to eat, and who had the best chocolate (take this advise, they are not all the same)
The location of this house is situated just far enough from the crowds to be nice and quiet but close enough to easily walk to all the sights and stores. The house itself is well furnished and felt like a home, not like a typical vacation rental. There is a washer and dryer in the basement that worked very well. This home also has air conditioning which was nice on hot days
Highly recommend!.

The Casa Michelangelo served as our home away from home while in Bruges. Our host, Alex, was extremely gracious and went out of his way to tell us about local attractions. He keeps a meticulous, tastefully decorated property with tons of natural light throughout. Walking distance to everything.
We were only there a couple nights and were so sad to leave. We would say there again in a minute.

Alex is such an excellent host. His apartment is not only perfectly situated but furnished with taste. Alex helped bring our suitcases upstairs and even our groceries. What a nice man. I was there with my two adult kids. I had the nicest room and felt like a queen. My kids too were happy with their rooms.
I would go there again and again.
And oh! I almost forgot to mention the beautiful little terrasse between the roofs, great spot for apéro time ! Thanks Alex for your wonderful house.

This apartment, really a home, was absolutely amazing in every way. We were 2 women who rented this property, and it was so comfortable, warm, and most inviting. The area was absolutely perfect, a easy & close walking distance to the main area of Bruges, but far away enough to have complete silence at night. also, a very easy walk to the train station that we took advantage of during our time there on many occasions. Such a lovely city with incredibly kind and lovely people who were so welcoming and a huge thumbs up to an incredible host, Alex. He was always available to us whenever we texted or called upon him. Thank you very much Alex for allowing us to rent your home, we have hopes to return again soon and to stay in

we stayed at Casa Michelangelo during our first ever visit to Brugge. it was amazing! the house was more spacious than i expected from the pictures. it was super clean, so modern and comfortable. all the amenities were up to date. so convenient having a washer and dryer. i loved the architectural details of the house.
it was an easy walk to everything. but on a quiet street. Alex was so helpful. we were able to leave our luggage early, and then he also gave us a lot of helpful suggestions for local places to eat and chocolate shops!
i wish we could have stayed much longer than the short visit we had, as it could not have been any more perfect.

We stay in quite a few apartments on our holidays and this one was one of the better ones. It was quite central. The owner was very helpful. The apartment came with everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done. There were plenty of towels. There was two WCs separate to the bathrooms. The kitchen was well kitted out. The furniture was cosy and the small terrace was a nice addition. The very tight parking space was only 50 metres from the apartment and worked well for us.
In terms of improvements, the TV did not work, and the pillows on the main double bed were a little sad.
There was some nice touches on arrival including some chocolates and local beers.
Brugge is lovely but not really worth a stay of more than 2 (possibly 3) days in our opinion.
We would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Casa Michelangelo was a beautifully restored and renovated apartment in the perfect location in Bruges! My family (kids 12, 9, & 7) had an amazing and comfortable time here. From the start, Alex greeted us on the street as we walked up and stored our luggage until the apartment was clean. He gave us all the codes and also had a nice set of recommendations and instructions for us. The food recommendations were spot on and L’Estaminet and the bagel breakfast place almost next door were amazing and very accommodating for families.
This place was very well kept and cozy. The main floor starts on the second level with street access leading to a marble staircase (European style, meaning there’s not a lot of space but it’s very cool how they’ve adapted everything). Main floor has a bathroom, living room, dining room & kitchen and a spiral staircase that leads to the 3rd floor. Upstairs is a nice spacious master bedroom and spacious bathroom. There’s another small room with a pull out single bed that was nicely made up for our family of 5 and the room also has a neat wooden staircase up to the attic/loft bedroom (4th floor) that the kids loved.
The apartment is only minutes walking to pretty much anything you’d like to see or do and about a 25-35 min walk from the train station depending on walking traffic. The cobblestones aren’t fun to walk with luggage so when we go back we will definitely use Taxi Sam (ask Alex for his number) for a ride from the train. Highly recommend!!
