A Great Stay Before Catching Cruise

The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the Blankenberge Train Station. We stayed two night/three days before catching the tram to Zeebrugge for a cruise (easy to do). The front staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and we slept well after the traffic died down. The only negative was that our room was next to a major street so it was noisy. Possibly the inner rooms could be quieter. Otherwise we enjoyed hotel and location was safe and easy to get to the ocean. We visited in October so the area was quiet.

Renovated and cozy

Beautiful old renovated building in the center of town. Ten minute walk from the sea shore. Staff is friendly and professional and hotel is very clean. We were given a converted attic room. Even though there were just two of us- it had a double bed and two singles. It was well equipped but didn’t have a tea kettle nor drinking water. A very odd feature that I’ve never run across is that their check-out policy is at 10:30 am! The earliest I have ever seen. They do have a kitchen but we didn’t eat there as there seemed to be some kind of function going on and we did not feel invited. We ate dinner a block away.

Personel excellent. Parking autour hotel difficile et payant. Le petit dej est tres bien et la chambre sans etre luxe est confortable et propre. Bien que la chambre donnait sur la rue elle etait tres calme.

Leider hat unser Zimmer nach Rauch gerochen. Die Dame an der Rezeption war beim Check-In super nett. Das Zimmer war sehr altmodisch aber bis auf einige Flecken an den Gardinen und wenige Haare sauber. Für eine Nacht absolut okay!

Ruime kamer met moderne badkamer, fijn bed. Heerlijk ontbeit met echt vers fruit en zelfgemaakte kipkerrie salade. Ook leuk dat thee/koffie in een kannetje wordt geserveerd.
