Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
The likes - location of the property, the views from the room and the size of our room, which had 3 beds.
The staff were nice.
The dislikes - immediate dislikes were the smell in the toilet area, flickering lights, open man hole in one of the bedrooms, some lights not working.
The kitchen area, and things in the kitchen are very old (toaster was in the oven) and there is no kettle (apart from a HUGE one on the stove, that would take forever to boil).
We didn’t even want to open the cupboard doors.
Key to our room also opened the restaurant door.
Lounge was badly stained.
We are 2 women travelling and this place had only male staff.
They just seem to be unaware of how to present a place, mainly for the dated and dirty things around.
When we arrived we questioned whether to stay or try and find somewhere else to go.
After our dinner (as we arrived late afternoon) we managed to find another hotel and ended up just leaving (around midnight) with nobody aware of this as there was nobody else in the place (we assume).
The next morning we went back and handed in the key, which surprised the staff member we gave it to.
It really is a shame that this place isn’t updated. It would not take much to change a few things and give the kitchen area a good clean.
Unfortunately this was an expensive part of our trip, given we had to change location, but we felt it totally necessary.
We would not recommend staying at this location, not until it is changed.
