Brussels Berlaymont is the best hotel for short or long stay. The environment is safe and the hotel is just behind the European commission. The Subway/metro is just 3 minutes away. Outside of the building, there is a bus (12) that goes directly to the airport.

Only thing is that its not super close to central brussels but that gave us an excuse to rent the electric scooters (you also can definitely walk too, it just takes a little longer)

Location was great, 5 min to Schuman Metro/Train station or express bus to the airport. Rooms were a lacking in lighting, even with the shades fully open the desk area was a bit dark so would be nicer with more lighting. Little cafe at the front had all you need for a quick breakfast.
