We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!"

"John and Barbara are the best hosts. I use their property every fall for when I am closing my camp. They are the best hosts ever. They give you the best greeting when you arrive and are willing to help if needed. The cabin is so sweet. I absolutely love how cozy it is. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking at the cabin. And there is enough little counter space to do a small puzzle! I am so grateful they take care of me in my camp closing."

"We had a great stay. The place was VERY clean, quiet and certainly peaceful. Everything you could possibly need for our trip was provided (Coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils, etc.). It's convenient to both shopping (5 mins.) and local attractions including Acadia (30 mins.). 5 stars!"

The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. "We stayed for one night in this lovely, rustic cottage and wished we had more than one day to enjoy the amenities, which was a fantastic lakeside spot with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, and wrap around deck. The cottage was charming and cozy, with an unusual layout with a loft above the 2nd floor bedroom. The one minor glitch to the trip was having to call Vacasa repeatedly for the access code to the house, which we did not get until we are at the house. "
