"A nice house with ocean view was proposed. We got a house with a huge orange wall right in front of the sea. No view. House was not clean. More than half of the lightbulbs were not working. Stove and oven not working. Could not open the bedroom access to the balcony, door was in bad shape and full of crap. Not at all what we have paid for. Owner should be honest and tell remote his house with the ugly wall blocking the view. We were stolen of our few first days of vacation. We had to go...

"Great views and a relaxing time was had at this comfortable sea side duplex. We were the only renters so we had the whole yard and pool to ourselves. Bob was an excellent resident owner host and the support staff of Maria and Ilariao were perfect and there when we needed help. "The furnishings are worn. The second bedroom is only suitable for small children. The house is only a few metres from a busy main road with noisy traffic. The beach is unattractive. The water is too shallow for swimming. And the house is NOT in the “historic centre” of Portobelo, which is several kilometres away and consists of the ruins of a fort and a church. We were so disappointed we left after one night."

"I am requesting a full refund. I was taken to a hotel in Adventura, showed them my confirmation, and told my room would be ready in two hours . I subsequently learned, despite the language barrier, that I was at the wrong hotel, and that this hotel was 20 miles from the one I reserved, and there were not taxis available. "I've booked for two nights. At arrival they couldn't find our reservation to begin with. After waiting for 45 minutes the gave us a key to a room on the 1 floor. My room was the last on the corridor who was/in service. The other rooms after my room were out of service and there were safety shoes outside the room next to the open doors. In the corridor to my room ware a lot a bags with food leftovers in there corner. They stayed there for more than 30 hours. Thats how long we manage to stay there. In the hotel stayed like 50 construction workers who made sure we knew that they were present. They watched tv with their doors open till late in the morning. After eleven o'clock we went to the reseption to ask if the could stop working so we can get a good night sleep. After have an hour, they stopped. That night I barricade my door with my luggage and slept with my razor under my pillow. I travel a lot, but I have never felt so unsafe in my life. There was no hot water, no INTERNET, warderobe door was broken, toilet was broken but funtional. In the shower was no shower head installed. Just a pipe out of the wall. The sheets were worn-out and dirty. The only good thing were the towels. We were so dissapointed with the stay, that after lunch we booked a hotel in Panama City and drove back. "

Not at all what was promoted. This house should not be promoted.
