Vacasa Management was awful
The house is very nice, bright and pretty comfortable. If you have a dog or small child, you probably want to bring a large gate for the stairwell. It is wide and hard and goes straight down to the basement/rec room. Our problem was the temperature in the house was 52 degrees when we got there about 6 p.m. I called the first local number for Vacasa and left a message. I waited for someone to call back. Then, I called the second number, left a message and waited for a call back. Finally, I called the Vacasa 800 number and was on hold hearing "This is taking longer than we thought, please stay on the line," for 10 minutes until I gave up.A bit later, I started back to the first number and finally reached someone! By now, it was about 8:30 p.m. and we were freezing! She said she would send a maintenance man right over. He arrived about 10:20 p.m.with small space heaters, found the heat pump fan wasn't working and the unit was not heating much. The house finally reached about 64 by 12:30 in the morning.I thought we could just huddle up in blankets in the beds, but there were none. Each bed has a sheet and very thin coverlet like one would use in the summer. We did find 2 throws which were nice and warm.A couple days later a high-pitched squeal was coming from the basement about 6 a.m. My husband found it was the sewer alarm. He shut off the breaker to the alarm and left a message at Vacasa. Got a return message 12 hours later saying someone would be right over.Never again.
