"The apartment was small, but well stocked with towels and kitchen items.. and coffee pellets. The best thing about the place is the view of lake and alps. And the patio with table where we could sit for meals or aperitif. Very fine visit.. gondola and boat ride were fantastic too!"

"We stayed here for two nights before our flight home. Was a nice location to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. The beds were very comfortable. "

"Great location in a historical building. Walkable to grocery and the lake/river tourist area. The building common area is a bit dated but look interesting if you like historical building. The apartment is spacious and modern. Big fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge. Nice Tereace. The bedroom with a bathroom are on the ground floor. there is an AC in the bedroom but not cool enough, only works like a fan. The AC upstairs is better but not enough to cover the living/dining/extra bed area....

"There seemed to be some confusion over our room we tried to rectify it straight away especially as there was no light in the bathroom, but no one was at reception desk. So was sorted next day. The room was changed and was more like what we had booked, it was clean but basic. Im not sure I’d go back there again. On Expedia it said you could get food at an additional fee. No such service. If I’m honest I was disappointed with it. "

"Initially we were a bit surprised at the rural farm setting. However, it was a very "genuine" home and the host was amazing!! Provided us with a fantastic breakfast and we had coffee and tea ready to go in the morning. The bathroom and shower are iutside in another building but extremely clean. One of our favorite places in Switzerland. People are everything and the hosts were the best!!"

"Ameron has great location and it's very close to the train station and the Chapel Bridge. The hotel itself was nice and clean and the room includes good breakfast with big variety. "We found Hotel Central Luzern to be a reasonably priced (relatively speaking) hotel in Lucerne with a lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. It is very centrally located near the train station and ferry terminal, which was a real benefit not only for walking through the city and visiting other spots on this beautiful lake, but also since we used Lucerne as a hub for day trips to other cities in Switzerland, taking advantage of the excellent train service. Surprisingly quiet, and all the front desk folks were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The main elevator was not operational during our stay, but a tiny back-up elevator was available and all we needed to transport suitcases to our room and back. Highly recommended."
