You're welcomed by the most friendly of receptionists. Dining exquisite. If you have a dog they treat them like family. Highly recommended. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. We'll be back. "

"Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Within walking distance to all of the must see spots. The bar downstairs has a nice collection of local wines. "

"Very interesting hotel. Quirky with lots of history. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only slight was that we thought the food could have been a little better. We did not have time to explore Avallon so cannot really comment on the town. Would he happy to stay at the hotel again if en route."

"Was excited to stay on the square with the cathedral, but the inability to pull up to the hotel and no elevator plus an incredibly narrow spiraling staircase made getting in and out feel down right dangerous. The room is clean, but unbelievably small; the bath was nice- about the same size as the room! Dinner in the hotel restaurant was pretty good. Petite déjeuner was in a sister hotel down the street and was very good. The diminutive size of the hotel would keep me from staying here again."
