Relaxing riverside retreat
We were looking for a winter getaway to escape the stress and congestion of Southern California and Hawkins Bar delivered in a big way. We loved the cozy main room and enjoyed the river view even with in the rain. River access was easy by car and foot and we took advantage of it. The outdoor gas grill was down for the season (understandable) and there was some confusion about when the trash was picked up (the management app said one thing and the information in the house another) but otherwise the description is accurate including the amazing river view and multiple levels of decks. We absolutely would return for another visit and really enjoyed our winter retreat.

Loved our stay, didn't want to leave
There was so much available in and around this home, the time went by so quickly that we didn't want to leave even when the time came to do so. There's a fully stocked kitchen, lots of games, Smart TVs, all inside. Then outside, there's bikes, a hiking path, or walk down to the river to swim or fish. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back...and stay longer next time.

All was nice . the house was filled with old personal memorabilia which was strange. Deck was not cleaned, card table unusable, filthy has cushions thrown on top. Need tv instructions… tv did not play any programming.. front gate needs to greased.

Fun Family Vacation
I stayed on this property with my family of six and another family of four. It was nice having the two separate houses.. There were plenty of beds, rooms, and thick mats for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen in the main house is stocked with all different types of cookware and bakeware. Access to the river was wonderful. We spent an entire day swimming in the river. We made sandwiches and brought down drinks and snacks. There isn't any shade so a canopy or cover of some kinda is necessary in the summer months. The house has WiFi. There is no cellphone reception in the area and the surrounding areas that are 15-20 minutes away. Both families enjoyed our stay very much!

STUNNING VIEW FOR A MINI GETAWAY
*Poor instruction of how to get inside the property. MAKE SURE to contact before departing to property. **Go to property during daytime to look for location. Our family enjoyed our stay at the property, which the property was family oriented. However the bed was super hard. The sofa was a lot more comfortable. Overall, a good stay for a short timeframe.

Loved it! Did not want to leave. Question: how do I become a Gripper? My husband rides and his favorite rider is Greg LeMond too so that was a nice surprise.

A nice quaint cabin
It’s fun and nice but took us 30 mins. To enter, hopefully next time I won’t have trouble finding the lock, cause it says lock box but it wasn’t anything like a lock box to enter.
