"This was our first time staying at Aparthotel and booking with Hotels.com. The Aparthotel was excellent, lots of space, clean apartment, lovely and quiet plus friendly staff and easy check-in. Our only slight negative was the mattress and pillows were not great. The mattress was very 'dead' and solid so not overly comfortable and the pillows provided very little support either. Kitchen was great, fully stocked with everything we needed. Bathroom was clean, tidy and the shower was amazing....

"Good location, staff was friendly and gave us recommendation about where to go in Birmingham. We had a problem with the shower drain, it took a long time for the water to go down the drain. We have informed the reception about the problem but it was not addressed. The sheets for the sofa bed had stains on it and we were not sure if it was washed or not. Other than that, the property was alright if you need a place to stay that is accessible to everything. "

"Generally, it's a good location but parking spaces are limited, if you're driving. I had to buy some detergents to clean the toilet and bath because it didn’t look clean. There was also a bit of filth at the rear car park around the bin area. "Stayed in the log style cabins. Lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy. Quiet and tranquil with lovely surroundings. I was very impressed with the accommodation and grounds. There is limited parking. We had a dedicated parking spot for our cabin and someone on the 2nd night decided to park their car there for the last few nights of our stay. "Booked to stay for 1 night after a trip to Alton Towers. It's a shame we didn't stay for longer as the kids absolutely loved it - particularly the garden which was packed with things for them to do, including a zip line. Would definitely recommend for families and groups of friends with kids."
