"The apartment was overall very good, only let down by a poorly fitted kitchen tap, which was very wobbly but worked. We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. "We had been looking forward to our weekly stay in Scotland for almost 3 years. Sadly, the villa did not meet our high expectations. First, the villa was in a nice location in Blairgowrie with a large yard, and a quiet neighborhood. The house has great character but it is old and rustic. "My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Kirkmichael. Hannah and Miles were perfect hosts, and the cottage was very clean/cozy and in a very convenient location. We were able to do many day trips to surrounding areas. Great location if you want to visit Pitlochry, Blair Athol, Braemar, and/or other areas within Perthshire. Wonderful hiking trails from the town that vary in length/time that range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. We also highly recommend The Cabin for a meal or two...
