"Ostan Loch Altan was an excellent place to rest on a looping, self-organized road trip through the hinterlands of County Donegal. The roadside inn is comfort, with spacious rooms (though the bed was on the soft side, so you felt a little like you were sinking toward the middle). "The minute we walked into this cottage we knew we had chosen the right place for our extended family meet-up in Ireland. Beautifully decorated with lovely fabrics and furniture. The kitchen has upscale appliances and it too, is artful in its presentation. The bathroom is lovely too. One of the best parts is that it's at the end a narrow rural road, with just another cottage.
