"We decided to change accommodations a few days before arriving in Montezuma Beach and couldn't have made a better decision. Enjoying the pool and working or reading on the covered patio were beyond relaxing. You're surrounded by nature while still enjoying the comforts of a full kitchen. "VRBO search led us to this spectacular-view property. Listed tips: ---*extremely* glad we had a 4WD vehicle, lots of unpaved/hole- and trench-laden roads. ---Specific arrival directions were not sent until our arrival day, so access was limited while traveling; we found them after arrival. ---Montezuma itself is a very small town with a few restaurants, Mini-supers and B&B/hostels, mostly surfers and some locals; we would hesitate to drive in there after dark (which happens at around 6:00 pm)...

10/10 Excellent

"This place is a dream! Stunning location, right on the shore of the Pacific in beautiful Montezuma. We dined, slept and explored with the rolling ocean waves ever present. Every aspect of this resort, from the staff to the location to the amenities, created a highly memorable trip for my family. There are too many highlights to name them all… all staff was friendly, accommodating and super helpful. Meals were fresh & delicious. Chef even prepared our freshly caught yellow fin tuna two ways for one of our dinners. The pool was refreshing, the grounds are well maintained and beautiful, straight out of a movie scene. Lodging was plenty spacious for my family of 4, cleaned spotless every day, and beds were comfy. Activities were easy to book on site, and tour operators were top notch, especially our day fishing and Curu wildlife guides. We enjoyed daily walks along the Pacific, with a river and the expansive Playa Grande within short distance from the resort. And the town of Montezuma is also within easy walking distance, offering several shops, eateries and other conveniences to explore. We had a 10/10 experience; while we were sad to leave, we have plentiful memories to last!"
