Peaceful and quiet
Peaceful and quiet. Clean inside with nice views. Was disappointed to find towels and linens left in the wash machine.(We finished that laundry before starting ours.) The grill was full of ashes! and is probably due to be replaced.

Nice, secluded location
It was a nice, secluded location but there was no cell phone service in the house....needed to drive a little down the street to get it. Actually, it added to our rest and relaxation, not to get phone calls, but we had to drive down the street to check in with our family as we usually talk to our adult kids every day. Also, the door code did not work so we had to drive to cell phone service area, call the hosts, but they directed us to another key in a secret location, so we got in after a short delay. We brought our own movies and dvd player, but there were no cords for hook up. It would be a nice addition to provide a dvd player in the living room. One other thing, there was no toaster but we used the oven so that was ok but would be a nice addition. By mistake we left our small planner, but they mailed it to us, which was much appreciated. Overall, we had a very nice time and will consider this location again when we are in need of a convenient get-a-way!

We found the cabin to be very clean and comfortable. It should be mentioned that in order to enter the bathroom you have to walk through the main bedroom. Both bedrooms could use side tables and lamps. Make sure you have a vehicle that will make it up the steep driveway. Our Host was very attentive and quick in taking care of any needs we had.

Great solitude
Great cabin for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed stay. We were looking for peace and quiet for or anniversary and this totally fit the bill. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the porch. It was easy to find and not far from the different lake resorts.

The stay was great. I have know complaints except for one we left early because we couldn't get the heat to work and it was chilly inside but other than that everything else was wonderful. I would book this cabin again but the next time I would ask how to turn on the heat.

Highly recommend
We loved staying at this cozy lake house. We came in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to hang around much but was very tempted to extend our trip to enjoy more of it. Great location and close to all the beautiful hikes and drives. My kids loved it too!

Yankee Spring Fling
Beautiful setting and a very nice cottage to stay in. It was everything that was listed and more. Enjoyed it and sorry we had to leave early because of a family matter at home. Con - The bath tub/shower was difficult to manage for older people and it was difficult get the heating system work properly for us. Enjoyed the stay and especially the surrounding area!

Great location for experiencing the Land Between the Lakes
The home and location was exactly what we had been hoping for. Nestled in the trees, close to the water and just a bit of a drive to the Land Between the Lakes. Secluded yet close enough to Cadez and surrounding towns to eat and shop. Wonderful, clean and cozy.

Wonderful quiet retreat!
The house is located in a beautiful wooded location on a quiet street with lake views across the street. Sitting on the deck listening to the wildlife and quiet is very peaceful.
