"This was our second time staying at The Ridge and for good reason. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city living I can definitely recommend this outstanding oasis. "Our stay at the Simple Patch was wonderful. Everything about the cottage is so considered, from the huge comfy bed, to the picturesque windows, and the convenience of a well-appointed kitchen. the cottage was private and comfortable, but we loved having the opportunity to bring our young daughter down to the homestead to meet the pony and feed the chickens - a great experience that added to our stay. The location is a very short drive from Wingham town centre, so we got to enjoy the quiet of the country with the convenience of being close to shops, etc. Cannot recommend highly enough! "

Fantastic peaceful getaway

"Property just outside of town so you can grab anything you need quickly. Beautiful setting, woke to the sounds of all the local bird life and the beautiful foggy valley while watching the sunrise coming up from the mountains. So many animals from the cows grazing to the little magpie that would come for a snack to the green tree frog that would come and croak at night plus rock wallabies that would be hopping past. The surrounding Barrington tops National Park was spectacular views and bush walks. Thanks to all the lovely locals that welcomed us into their beautiful town and a very special thanks to Dan for sharing this little piece of countryside with us."
