"From the photographs we were expecting something a lot nicer...our greeting by the cleaner Monika and our conversation with the owner was most pleasant but sadly the property is in dire need of a facelift, it's barely furnished or equipped, the front gate was a nightmare to lock (entire gate is out of alignment), barbeque lid handle was broken, ditto hinge on one of the toilet seats..the restful sound of the cicadas was drowned out by the yelling of the neighbours and one had to drive...

We enjoyed a walk to the beach in the later evening. The Renoir Museum is not too far away and worth the visit. The secure parking was also very much appreciated.
