"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. ..."

Cahors is such a friendly town, the restaurants and shops are a bit pricey but it’s a tourist hub so to be expected. I’d recommend the Bistro la Lisa and their Query sandwich, kids menus is perfect and delicious food.

Stop by the pub - au bureau on the rue dr Gambetta it’s a great place to watch the world go by and a shaker walk from the main fountains in the square.
