"This is a great place to stay when coming from the ferry. We were foot passengers and picking up a car at 5:00 on a bank holiday. We had a sea view which looked at the ferries going by and many fishing boats. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Comfortable hotel with great service and excellent value. Close to a unique "Memphis" themed restaurant and an older part of Calais. They also have a nice breakfast, which felt more personal than most other places. "

"A but tired but fairly clean although paintwork to bathroom door quite stained. Kettle in room but bring your own cups and supplies unless you want one drink in a polystyrene cup. Basic room in a convenient location from Eurotunnel if you get a later crossing. "

"This is good value for money, but it’s showing its age, so it’s a good compromise, the staff are friendly and helpful, the place is clean and I would be happy to stay here again. The real down side is the lack of air conditioning and no lift for the upper floors. Good local breakfast, set me up for the day and a long drive. "
