  • Let me preface these discoveries by saying that I ended up in Calella haphazardly. It is not necessarily a town that I would generally recommend. It is not your traditional Spanish/Catalan dream destination. It very much looks like something the 70's spit out and no one ever bothered to clean up. With that said, I freaking love this little freakish town, which I quickly & affectionately nicknamed "The Twilight Zone." The strangest occurrences happened throughout the month, yes MONTH, I lived in Calella. Apparently since the 70's, Calella, was a booming tourist destination for Western Europeans and the British. It has been on a massive decline over the past decade. What's left behind though are some fun Dutch and English/Irish pubs, a small welcoming expat community, and one of the most incredible beaches you will ever lay your eyes on. Beautiful clean white sand for miles and crystal clear turquoise water. Parties & bars on the beach, some free concerts in the summer time and of course drinking it allowed as well. If you happen to find yourself here, you must stop in at Beach Boys Club, tell the owners, Brian & Cathy, that Amber sent you. Then hit up Brian for his secret stash of American imported Budweiser (Did you know the bottled stuff is always produced in country? Brian believes the secrets in the water, so he gets the cans from the US. Brian is British, which makes this little story even better.) Also, be prepared to eat a lot of rotisserie chicken.

plates, utensils is not wash properly. Limited schedule for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks are average. You cannot enjoy much of the bar because there’s always a long queue every time you want to get a drink. Limited staff who provide the service.

We vonden het personeel weinig gastvrij. De kamers waren gehorig en ernstig aan een opknapbeurt toe. De airco deed het om de haverklap niet. De eetruimte ongezellig en erg rommelig. Het zwembad was troebel. De ligging ten opzichte van het strand en winkels was prima.

Tout s’est très bien passé excellent

J’ai passé un excellent de séjour à l’hôtel. Bon repos merci à toute l’équipe. La cuisine est excellent. Je ne peux rien dire de négatif. La plage est à moins d’un kilomètre de l’hôtel. Que demander de plus. Merci encore.

Solo dormimos y desayunamos, por el tiempo revuelto no utilizamos piscina, pero los ascensores para sillitas de bebe tenías que hacer maniobras (llevábamos carrito más bien pequeño). El personal muy bien.

Mention spéciale à l'accueil où le directeur est très arrangeant et à l'écoute. Malheureusement pour le reste c'est une catastrophe. L'hôtel est très vieillissant, sale (ne regardez pas derrière la porte d'entrée) et très bruyant. La restauration est par contre correcte sans être très recherchée. On paie pas cher c'est vrai mais on sait pourquoi.

Nada que ver con lo que pone la gente, el hotel todo genial. Los camareros y la gente que trabaja todos súper simpáticos, un trato super familiar, la comida variada y todos los dias nuevos platos. Las habitaciones estan bastante bien y buena animación para padres y niños. Mi familia y yo volvemos encantados.

Le personnel est souriant et accueillant Les chambres sont correctes et propres Le restaurant est sympa et la nourriture est de bonne qualité La piscine est nickel pour les grands et les petits ainsi que la plage de Calella est accessible à 5 min à pieds. Insulte envers les français quel honte

Hotel catastrophique. Des caffards dans la chambre .des puce de lits ou petite betes . Je suis aller voir la receptions . Il m'ont repondu desole . J'ai demander a changer de chambre . Et ils on pas voulu . J'ai dit que c'était une honte et ils mont répondu que toutes facon les français etais leurs pigeons. En gros qu'ils prenent norre argent et on ce casse . La police et meme venu .

Verblijf was prima. Kamers wat klein voor 4 pers maar goed je slaapt er alleen. Zwembad wel wat minpunten rand was op veel stukken afgebroken en veel kapotte ligbedden. Maar het strand is vlakbij. Ontbijt is prima verder hebben wij lekker buiten de deur gegeten

Patz, 10€pro Tag ist ok. Aber nicht mit großem PKW, wir b mußten Dachbox abbauen um rein zu fahren und die einfährt in die Garage war eine Zumutung auch ganz eng 😱dazu kamm, dass unser Platz besetzt war und somit mußten wir zurück laufen um den Block um ein anderes Plaz zugewiesen zu bekommen, ein Rat, einer bleibt an der Rezeption, bis der andere geparkt hat. Zimmer:waren sauber, für 4 Personen viel zu klein und die Betten bei den Kindern waren mega hart. In der Duschen war das Wasser mal kalt, mal heiß so das man aufpassen sollte um sich oder Kind nicht zu verrühren. Essen :alles was da war konten wir gut genießen. Es ist etwas wenig Auswahl, aber sehr frisch. Das ganze aber in der presentstion etwas mager, Kantinen Flyer.Uns fehlten Tischdeken /Gläser und nicht Plastik und Besteck, denn man ständig vergessen hat zu hollen, weil es an so bescheuerten Stelle war. Gestört hat mich zu 30%gefuhlter Haus mit Ukrainern, sie durften als erster uberral hin. Sehr komisches Gefühl, ich weiß bis jetz nicht was ich dazu sagen sollte. Rezeption:an der Rezeption war eine blonde Frau die sehr gut deutsch gesprochen hat. Sie war immer hilfreich und super freundlich, ein Gewinn für dieses Hotel. Programm :vom Hotel wurde angeboten kayak zu fahren das haben wir mitgemacht Wasserpolo am Pool, soweit es möglich war haben wir mitgemacht. Es ist überhaupt ein Problem mit Atmosphäre. Keine Bühne und BeleEs gibt KEINE MUSIK😭😭😭. Es wurde nur kurz zur kinderdisko angemacht.

Séjour décevant

Pour un établissement censé avoir du personnel multi langues si on ne parle pas espagnol c'est très compliqué. Buffet moyen. Lits inconfortables pour certains (on sent bien les ressorts), salle de bain convenable Le plus est la piscine.
