"Out of town, secure parking via electronic gates. Chalet bungalow run by the most charming retired couple (and dog) who can't do enough for you, including cooking your breakfast. We had a lovely 5 night stay, touring the area."

"We loved Highland Guest House. It's in a perfect location in a great little tow. Our hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and another guest lounge had supplies of tea, coffee and fruit available during the day. We found many wonderful walks in the area, great meals in the nearby pub and lots of interesting shops in town. This guest house was also the best value accommodation we found on our holiday in the UK."

"Lovely boutique hotel on the shore of Loch Goil. Comfortable bed, nice bath and shower and AMAZING views from our room. What really makes this place so special are the owners - Billy and Liz (and their dog Watson). They are amazing hosts and lovely people. They really made our stay special. Thank you!!"

"This was an absolute gem of a place. The owners were so thoughtful and provided just about every kind of tea, coffee, wagon wheels, tunics tea cakes and a cracking breakfast ! Room was compact but contained everything one needed when doing the west highland way and it is literally on route (about 6’ away). So much nicer than the enormous campsite hippy hobbit house place and the saga-bus-holiday hotel."

"A night in a tent in a garden for £140 is a bit expensive specially for the quality of it. Floor uneven and cracked, and smelt a bit dump. Bathroom (in main house) is a bad design and water goes everywhere. We wanted to ask the owner questions, while they were in their private room, and as soon as we tried to get their attention, they went quiet and ignored us. They must have been able to hear me. I found it rude."

Clean fresh beautifully decorated with friendly hosts who gave us a warm welcome and explained all the parts of our stay. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was truly amazing.
