"Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment."

Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. "

"The views from this property are stunning. The weather was perfect, we were able to sit back and relax in front of the outdoor firepit, with a glass of wine. The neighbouring cows were very cute and friendly. This was a great way to enjoy my 50th birthday. "

"Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."

"Gums and Roses was such a gem to find in the Adelaide Hills! We loved the tiny house; small but has everything you could need, and in the perfect location. Perfect for watching the horses and kangaroos and close to the pubs if you're after a meal at night. Our host was so nice and let us come and meet her horses which was great. We would definitely book here again!"

"This property and Staff were amazing. We started off in a lovely room, but had very noisy upstairs neighbors so asked to be moved to a room without an upstairs, The lovely lady at reception could not have been more accommodating for us ad moved us to a studio room. All I can say is AMAZING service and AMAZING room. It was so quiet, right in the middle of Hahndorf. Walking distance to everything. Beautiful l garden to look out at. Thanks for an amazing stay and all your help to make our stay comfortable and quiet. Will be back for sure and will be booking the studio room."
