"Four days on coastal Maine. Chose Camden area so we had easy access to Arcadia National Park ( two hours to the north) and easy day trip to Boothbay area( two hours to the south) and there is plenty to do in Camden or take a trip over to Portland. "

The gardens needed some attention and the lighting could be better in the kitchen (we are not fans of overhead fluorescents). Some foil, measuring cups and olive oil would be great too. "This rental was clean and the perfect size. The view out back is breathtaking. This rental showcases all of the natural beauty that Maine is famous for. The air conditioning was cold and the water in the shower was hot. All linens were crisp and white. The driveway was a challenge to navigate, however it is manageable. We hope to stay here again."

"Rose Cottage fully lived up to the online description. It's in a great setting, quiet with a stunning water view. Great sleeping in the cool sea air. Kitchen is pretty well equipped as short-term rentals go, so you can cook meals there. The nearby town of Belfast offers everything you need by way of shopping and restaurants. Owner was prompt and helpful in getting one minor problem (empty propane tanks) resolved. "

"The cottage is a former "garage-barn" (2 floors) that's been lovingly re-crafted into a cottage that's nicely decorated with sea-themed and comfy decor. The locale is great if you'd like to ditch your car and walk to restaurants; and bike on nearby trails! We are only cautioning that IF you plan to cook your own meals, the kitchen set-up is on the 2nd floor with the bedroom. It's OK for short, quick meals (e.g microwaveable meals) you wish to prepare, but inconvenient for anything fancier. The...

"This place was perfect for my husband and I!! The view, the location, and the homey feel both inside and out!!! Brenda was very responsive with any questions we had. Met Jim and their dog Bently and were just as great! I would highly recommend this place for a nice little getaway!!"
