Old outdated place. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Dirty counters. Dust bunnies. Terrible service. Three guests, two towels. No restocking items like soap, coffee, towels between days stayed. Housekeeper spoke no English. Definitely won’t stay there again.

Have stayed previously and it is a great place for a quick trip from the North Island to Campbell River. We liked the breakfast and everything was great.

This was a horrible experience through Expedia. We got the wrong size room, the bedspread was stained, the kitchen was falling apart. We had to call to get help with check in at 4:30 in the afternoon and there willing to come to the desk and help us. We left and are requiring a refund. Expedia should not be promoting this as a highly rated hotel worth the extra money.

It is so deceitful to say breakfast is included and then say on the weekend it doesn’t start till 9 AM. Who the hell eats at 9 AM in the morning. I think they’re just out to save money and they don’t want people eating breakfast. It used to be six or 630 but I guess new owners are managers changed it. I won’t be staying here again.

Filthy carpet....unlit and empty front desk. The suite seemed clean, but smelled like deodorizer was possibly trying to hide something. We felt uneasy sleeping there and would not ever go back.

The bed was relatively comfortable but the musky smell was overwhelming and every time the toilet was flushed, the pipes rattled so loud it sounded like the roof was going to cave in. Not worth $200 we paid for the night. I would NEVER stay here again, I’d rather sleep in my car!

I didn’t end up spending the night there. The bedspread was covered in soiled spots. I pulled back the covers to see the sheets. They had soiled spots also. They had both been washed but should havre been thrown out. When I arrived no one was at the desk. Phoned the operator and was told where my key was. The next morning I called to explain why I didn’t spend the night but had to leave a message. Not impressed.
