"We spent 7 nights here, and found it to be peaceful and scenic, which is what we had hoped for. The home is very well-appointed especially in the kitchen, which I appreciated since we most often cook while on vacation. Sharp knives, plenty of cutlery and dishes. The light switches were labeled, which was useful. Sheets and towels very good quality, always nice. Many afternoons spent on the porch swing overlooking the lake were very restful. "Simply wonderful!! Great location, beautiful scenery with lots of toucans and other birds on the property. The villas are brand new, very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. Nilla and Stéphane were extremely attentive and friendly and had great recommendations for activities in the Bijuagua region. A real gem."

"If you are looking for a place to stay in Monteverde, look no further. This is a beautiful home located near town that offers so much. The house was incredibly clean and offered lots of space for our house. Sitting on the patio looking out on the forest never gets old. Finally, Evelyn the host is highly communicative and offers great local tips. Highly recommended!"

"We had such an amazing stay at this property. Our jaws dropped when we first walked in as the view is breathtaking. We felt very welcomed and taken care of by the staff and looked forward to coming back to our villa each day after we adventured. It was great proximity to all of the activities we did and enjoyed the scenery. I would suggest a vehicle with 4x4 to get into the property as some of the roads were rough, but it added to the fun! We would absolutely stay here again and looking forward...

"The place was dirty and there was so many bugs and creatures everywhere! Spiders, cockroaches and ants crawling all around the place. I was in bed and a spider ran across the covers! We were told to spray bug spray around to prevent this, but also couldn’t open the windows as it would let more creatures in! So we were coughing the entire time because of the spray and couldn’t sleep. We left the property two days early and only stayed one night "

"The property had amazing views. The best part was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and other wild life and having chef prepared breakfast :) Some reviews did mention the bugs: you're in nature; it's expected and you get used to it and they do have pest control. No AC, but they provided fans and it was comfortable. Place is MUCH larger than the pictures. Highly recommend hiring James to cook for you!! We had him prepare breakfast daily! He's amazing and it makes getting started...
