Disliked: Cleanliness
Very disappointing
The listing did not show the front of the house. We tought maybe the inside was better . It wasn't the case. The floor was dirty, the house in general dusty, the fridge very sticky on the outside, the inside had leftover food. Very old appliances and not throughly cleaned. The house was extremely hot, the A/C units and the fans where turned off and it took a long time to get comfortable. But more than anything what bothered us more was that there where 2 rooms locked up, with no explanation, there where shoes and clothes in the closets, bed bugs in one of the beds. It looked like somebody lives there. It'sa very old house and not mantained well.
Also, I stepped on a roach in the middle of the kitchen.
The neighborhood seemed unsafe. We heard sirens and people screaming thought the night.
In general it was a very unpleasant experience.
We trusted that the property was managed by an established company, so we don't understand how that property was approved to be listed through Vrbo.
I hope that you review the expectations and procedures to approve a property to be listed with your name on it.
Just days before we rented another house with Vrbo in Playa del Carmen, Qro.and we had a very pleasant stay.
