This hotel was middle of the road with most things. It was a safe place to sleep at night, but didn’t offer much else. The free breakfast was a box of cereal, a carton of milk, some sweets, a yogurt, and bananas. I had to shuffle through 4 bowls to find a clean one, and decided after that to eat breakfast out. It’s not a convenient walk to either the north or south side of the island if you’re looking for activities or the beach. The two men working there were extremely nice, upgraded our room for free because it was our friends birthday, and were very helpful when it came to tips on what to do and how to get around. The older woman that works there was not so friendly (a little rude), and did not seem to be very interested in helping with anything. We had the option on the first day of whether or not we wanted our room cleaned, and we declined because the safe in our room was broken (which one of the men tried to fix, unsuccessfully), but we had to ask several times to get one extra roll of toilet paper. As the other reviews stated, there was also a smell of sewer that lingered in the bathroom for the entire trip. It’s a loud hotel, so keeping the ac on at night to drown out the sound was also a must.
The highlight of the hotel for us was the pool on the roof. No one spent time up there at all, so in between activities, it was a great place for my friend and I to get some sun and take some photos. The view is really pretty from up there, and the pool was clean.
