"It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. There are several good restaurants around Garajau - all good value and excellent local cuisine - one was Frango da Guiia 2 - the other Bar Neptuno - with a couple of other nice cafes for lunch type stuff in between.
