There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book.
