"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

"This apartment is a very short walk to the historical old walled city of Lucca and shops for any necessities. It’s nicely furnished, with very clean and updated bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen. The owner,Massimo, was informative regarding the local area and immediately responsive to any of our questions. "Location is great 2 min walk from central station. Friendly reception staff, helped me out with a plug adaptor when I realised mine wouldn't work! Room was dated but very comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was lovely. Luggage storage was very handy. Would definitely recommend."
