"We stayed here for three nights. The location is fantastic ,however if you struggle to walk this is not for you as which ever way you approach the hotel you have a steep walk. If you have a car reserve a parking space with them as parking is not easy to find. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable and the staff at reception very helpful "

"Great location for exploring Sarlat"

"We were greeted very warmly by Philippe and his wife, and they offered us coffee when we arrived. We were then shown around the accommodation and given details of the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our break and in a very quiet area, but easy to find. Nothing was too much trouble for Philippe during our stay which we enjoyed immensely. We hope to return next year, and would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice little boutique hotel, centrally located at the beginning of the old city in Sarlat. Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. Rooms are adequate in size and the AC works great. Service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is €19 pp and probably not worth it for a limited buffet, but you're paying for the convenience. "

"Beautiful property. Large room and bathroom. Modern in the annexe area. Great dining. Disappointed about the bed. Very hard and flat pillow so it was uncomfortable and we had multiple bugs in our room like crickets and beattles. Otherwise amazing place to stay and relax."

"Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley. We all made good use of the pool and sun beds although the only feedback we would give was that the few parasols there weren’t really enough for good shade poolside and do not work fully. All in all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and exploring the surrounding area."

"Excellent, clean property. Good value for money and very well situated for the main areas of Sarlat and local parking. Overall basic but ticked all boxes we required. Would definitely use again."
