"Very comfortable and well appointed house with both a dishwasher and dryer. Located near town but on a busy street. The manager was helpful. Bantry is a good hub as there are many other venues just a short distance away."

"This place was amazing in its proximity to area towns and attractions. It had a great view of the sea, and the place was very clean and tidy. Teri was very helpful in aiding us to the place, and she even had a cake dessert and some coffee pods for us when we arrived. She went through everything very thoroughly and was always available via What's App for our questions. I recommend this to any family/friend group (we were 9). Lots of space, great bedrooms, very clean. So glad we chose this place....

"This is a lovely cottage and the hosts are very responsive and helpful. It is probably best suited for a warmer season fishing trip than a cold weather stay on the coast.The view from the cottage is gorgeous and the back yard is wonderful."

Travelling with handicapped parents is never easy, but the two made my father-in-law's stay comfortable and simple -- Damien went so far as to build a temporary ramp on the back patio to allow the wheelchair easy access. "This house is so much nicer in real life! The photos don't do the main kitchen/living room/dining room area justice. And the views ... no matter what the weather ... were mesmerising. You don't go to West Cork in Ireland in January for the weather, but in the 7 days we were there we had everything from 2 days of storms, 2 days of clouds, and then topped off with 3 days of spectacular blue skies and no wind. "This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...

"Nellie's farmhouse is a delightful home. Very roomy and well thought out flooplan. The farmhouse overlooks rolling fields on one side and Bantry Bay on the other. The home is outfitted with all the things anyone would need for an enjoyable stay and less than 5 minutes from the small village of Durrus.
