"A really lovely lodge in the best location in Cape Mclear, it had the most amazing chef and restaurant and lovely gardens. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s also felt very safe. "Staff and lodging is good, ac works. The pool was not filled upon our arrival. Don’t buy anything from the vendors on the beach they will overcharge you by insane amounts. Walk down to the other vendors and shops for better deals."

Stunning location but would strongly recommend 4x4 if driving, the road from Monkey Bay to Cape McClear is ‘challanging’ even for Malawian standards. Don’t be put off though Cape McClear is a gem of a place.
