"Loved the retro design, really fun and funky. Unknowingly, I reserved a queen suite the first night (via Expedia) and really enjoyed it. Everything was clean and neat and updated. TV didn't seem to be working but it didn't matter since we only planned to spend one night and would be out of the room for much of our time in Wildwood, NJ. We ended up having to stay another night because I was way too tired to drive home. The staff was super accommodating and offered a standard room for less money. I agreed since we were only going to need to be there for about 9 hours, tops. The standard room, however, felt like a motel--entry opened to the outside, small, bathroom was dated (unintentionally retro, LOL), small microwave atop a three foot frig. It was fine for one night but it definitely had a different feel. If I were to stay again, especially for a longer time, I'd definitely pay more for the suite."
